Clara's Dutch Treat

My client Clara wanted to plan her 50th that would thrill and tantalize all of her guests who would travel from Holland, Los Angeles, East Coast to join the locals. We planned a party with an international point of view. Our eclectic food stations reflected 'Tapa, Tapa Tapa', our exciting tapas menu, 'Latino', a mix of Mex and more, Autumn Grill of game sausages, Pork loin and lamb chops all accompanied with paired glazes. Autumn Supper, my favorite 'change of seasons' menu would round out the meal with our signature pumpkin ravioli, pear salad and oven grilled vegetables. No Birthday cake for Clara as she opted to serve our Juan Fig Flan, a dulce d' leche style custard topped with fig glaze. She tasted this dessert at the Fig Fest 2010 http://www.farmtablefresh.com/ in which we won People's Choice in the food purveyor category. The perfect complement, a cheese board of decadent cheeses and summer berries and fruits.
